In a blast from hard dance past, globally acclaimed dance music phenomenon Quintino teams up with Belgian pioneer D-Devils to revive his early zeroes hit in the shape of “The 6th Gate Is Open (Dance With The Devil).” It’s a raving return to the original’s trance and hard styled dance anthem, gaining new energy by the steady hand of Quintino’s notorious electro production. Showcasing his widely praised craftsmanship, the Dutchman takes the song straight onto 2023’s festival stages, opening the gates again for a sinister ride into dark, twisted dance euphoria – out now on Spinnin’ Records.

Making waves for over ten years already, Quintino has impressively moved from young tastemaker to one of dance music’s most renowned artists. His genre defining 2011 electro house hit “Epic” (a collab with Sandro Silva) kicked things off, as he continued to impress an increasing international audience with major festival tunes like “Freak,” “I Just Can’t” (both alongside R3hab), the Alok collab “Party Never Ends” and the Steve Aoki teamup “Mayhem,” all racking up tens of millions of streams.

Recently, Quintino developed his music even further, shaping his own big room progressive sound, dropping massively popular solo releases like “Switch Back,” “Coming Home” and last year’s smash “No Time.”

Never too shy to pick up a classic, Quintino now returns to the heyday of trance and hard dance, reviving one of those early zeroes anthems. Originally titled “The 6th Gate (Dance With The Devil),” the tune marked the breakthrough of Belgian DJ/producer D-Devils, who perfectly captured the vibe of those days, blending ominous vocals with elements of hard dance, trance and techno.  It’s remained a staple of electronic music until this day, while D-Devils kept his game up, releasing furious harder styled tunes with much acclaim. Only recently, he dropped his raving new single “Kernkraft 400” with Adryx-G, while a techno fueled remix of “Dance With The Devil” by Reinier Zonneveld created fresh waves among the dance crowds.

Leave it up to Quintino to take this timeless anthem to yet a next level, providing the dark vocals with some furious beats in his characteristic electro style. Adding more energy to the action, raw bass chords keep the groove going, emphasized by those typical, ominous chords.  When the songs falls into that famous breakdown, with the monstrous vocals and rattling sounds creating a sinister atmosphere, there’s no escaping the tension, building towards a mind blowing electro hook, shifting gears between big room and hardstyle, sure to create absolute mayhem on the dance floor.

Quintino lives up to the promise once again, successfully joining forces with D-Devils to create a totally fresh festival weapon. Already supported by headline acts like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Blasterjaxx, W&W and Mike Williams, this tune is sure to dominate the mainstages this season. Prepare yourself for a blistering summer, as the gates have opened to unleash some powerful, menacing sounds.
