STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music have almost reached the end of their spectacular collaborative EP. Brazilian powerhouse duo Fancy Inc have crafted the wavy house heater ‘Confessions’ in collaboration with singer/songwriter Fredrik Ferrier, co-released through both imprints today! The track opens with haunting vocals and undulating melodies with the strong progressive bassline kicking in for some underground dancefloor appeal. The result is an anthemic house record, inviting you to lose yourself within its dark and alluring soundscapes.
Fancy Inc: “‘Confessions’ is an anthem that makes us rejoice for where we are today while remembering those who are no longer with us. We composed an instrumental track to compliment the beautiful mood of the vocal performance. It’s rare to hear a song that makes the audience dance and think at the same time. We hope we’ve accomplished that. We’re proud to be releasing ‘Confessions’ with our friends at Tomorrowland Music and STMPD RCRDS.”
Fredrik Ferrier: “‘Confessions’ was written about human strength and resilience, an anthem to live intensely and vibrantly. For those who’ve loved, lost, grieved, but always remain strong and never let their spirit falter. The vocals are deep, dark and powerful. I want them to capture people’s attention straight away, like a war cry. Uniting the people together to stay strong. I cannot wait to hear this being played at festivals, it’s what the song is designed for! I’m so excited to have teamed up with the amazingly talented Brazilian producers Fancy Inc. I have always heard such amazing things about them so it’s a real honour. I can’t wait to perform with them one day. Special thanks also to my co-writer Yola Recoba.”
With five releases under the belt already, including ‘P.R.O.G.2’ by DubVision, ‘Aspirin’ by Julian Jordan, ‘Hurricane’ by label boss Martin Garrix, Sentinel and Bonn, ‘Rewind’ by Goodboys and ‘Confessions’ by Fancy Inc and Fredrik Ferrier and another final single by Matisse & Sadko coming up, two of dance music’s most esteemed record labels will be closing off bigger than ever by co-hosting the STMPD RCRDS x Tomorrowland Music stage at Tomorrowland Belgium on Saturday July 22.
