Over the weekend, news broke out that Apple was planning on purchasing Shazam. Even though at first nothing was official, yesterday, Apple revealed that the rumors were indeed true and that they did acquire the song identification app. Below you can see what the company had to say:

Even though no official price was revealed, there are some rumors going around that Apple has purchased Shazam for $400 million. Well, we’re curious to see how things will go down in the future!
