In his first release on deadmau5’s mau5trap imprint (as part of their We Are Friends Vol. 7 compilation), Enamour unleashes a deep, progressive house cut that’s as dark as it is uplifting. It’s a carefully crafted functional track that serves to bridge the gap between melodic deep house and a more peak-time progressive sound. Swirling atmospheres and a moody arpeggio compliment a heavy low end as the track slowly builds, leading to a hands-in-the-air breakdown that ends in a club-shaking climax that’s tasteful yet will bring any crowd to a frenzy. The real standout of the track is Enamour’s menacing signature bass lead, which drives the first half of the track and then completely takes over the second half in a euphoria that has been a hallmark of his recent sets.
