They’ve been known to drop a classic or two; for the last decade LA-based duo Breathe Carolina has become one of dance music’s most inventive tastemakers. Blurring the lines between straight forward pop music and overwhelming festival tunes, they’ve dropped several hit songs, including “Blackout,” “Rhythm Is A Dancer,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Too Good,” the latter featured on their widely acclaimed 2019 fifth album DEADTHEALBUM.
More recently, the guys continued to break boundaries with 2021’s Raven & Kreyn collab “Vibes,” and 2022’s “Something”, a highly successful teamup with Martin Garrix. Last year, they continued this streak with releases on Garrix’ STMPD imprint, KSHMR label Dharma, as well as a series of resounding remixes of their all-time favorite “Sweet Dreams.”
Now, as 2024 unfolds, the guys venture into new exciting grounds, teaming up with none other than UK based soul/RnB vocalist Abi Flynn. She’s already made ripples in the UK soul/jazz scene for many years, supporting the likes of George Clinton/Funkadelic, Roy Ayers, Soul II Soul and more.
Her most recent success, however, has been found in the house and dance music world, where she delivered magic to countless hit records. As the mystery voice behind Navos’ platinum selling global hit “Believe Me,” and chart topping D.O.D. single “So Much In Love,” Abi’s smooth, melodic vocals and irresistibly catchy toplines have taken the dance world by storm.

The guys basically add several layers of rhythmic bliss, enhancing the original’s wobbly bass line while creating a strong crescendo with rumbling drums and smooth synth pads. As the song drops into its indestructible chorus, a series of powerful piano chords, energetic percussion and flashy sound effects take the mood sky high, sure to ignite any contemporary club and festival crowd.
