Well, that’s it for EDC Las Vegas and Ultra this year. Both the Insomniac and the Ultra crew threw one hell of a party, their reputation remains intact, but what about the people who didn’t make it this year? How about those guys and girls that attended these legendary events but are hungry for more? Who’s going to satisfy their thirst for partying?
We might have a few suggestions to keep your feet dancing this summer!
1. Untold – Cluj-Napoca, Romania
The largest electronic music festival of Romania is only 3 years old, but it already won the “Best Major Festival” award in its first year. The hype is real: the stunning lineup and the great vibes will keep you going for 4 days. Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto, Kygo and many more EDM legends are waiting for you 2nd – 5th August at Untold!
2. HARD Summer – Fontana, California
It only makes sense that we go back to California to wrap things up. If you are looking for the wilder sounds of electronic music HARD Summer in Fontana – one of the best EDM festivals of the country should be right up your alley. A two-day blow out with artists like Marshmello, Travis Scott, Virtual Self, Zeds Dead, Diplo and so on. August 4th and 5th – don’t miss out!
3. Creamfields – Daresbury, United Kingdom
I’ll just name a few of the 300 reasons why you should make the trip to the UK and attend Creamfields: Faithless, Armin van Buuren, The Chainsmokers, Fatboy Slim, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk – and many more. Anyone who knows anything about electronic music will tell you to go for it! Four days of incredible partying at Creamfields with definitely the most ambitious EDM lineups this season are waiting for you from August 23rd!
4. Electric Zoo – New York, New York
The Electric Zoo festival held in New York has one of the most vivacious environments ever! Their stage design is off the hook and they have one of the best line-ups of the summer, as they should since it’s their 10th anniversary! From August 31st till September 2nd their stages are going to be graced by Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Alesso, and Kaskade – just to name a few!
5. Lost Lands – Thornville, Ohio
If you are looking for an experience that is truly wild at heart then it’s time to get lost at Lost Lands! The festival – organized by Excision himself – starts on September 14th and lasts for three beat-packed days. The festival grounds are magnificently decorated and are located in Thornville, Ohio. A word of caution though, this is a festival is on the heavier side of EDM specter so get ready for a massive amount of head-banging!
