Facebook is planning to take things to the next level. Bloomberg has just revealed that apparently, the company wants to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to the major record labels and music publishers just to obtain music rights. This means that Facebook users will officially have the chance to legally include music in their uploads without having any worry that their video might be taken down.

It looks like the negations for this have been ongoing for months, but apparently reaching this kind of agreement might take years and years. However, Facebook wants it done as fast as it can be done, so that its users will not have their videos removed. But, it remains to be seen when this deal will finally be closed. If you’re curious to know more about this, make sure to stay tuned!
