Canadian producer J-Hamz released the “I Stack Up” EP on Digital Empire Records and this comes with the opportunity to join their remix contest and get signed. The EP contains four tracks, three originals and one club edit by Jeff Olson. The first tune called “I Stack Up”, comes as a bouncy and rap infused electro track with Jesse’s slick rap and J-Hamz’ enticing basslines and melodies. My favorite tune is the second one called “Keep On Lovin'” whic once again shows off J-Hamz’s smooth-as-glass bass writing. It’s a crisp and futuristic house track with a dank and groovy edge, a real hazy basement trip out tune, highly suited to Jesse Peter’s velvety vocals. “A Very Important Expedition”, the third original of the EP, sounds more darker and heavy, more like an experiment, showing the creativity and desire of the Canadian producer to explore and test new sounds. The EP ends with an extended club mix of “I Stack Up” by respected Edmonton DJ & producer Jeff Olson.

Quite a treat is what we have here. Four tunes plus a remix contest! Jump in dear producers and get involved!
