Some tracks are so massive they deserve to go for round two and ‘Shake It Down’ is definitely one of those tracks. After the successful original by Laidback Luke and A-Trak back in 2008, almost 10 years later Tommie Sunshine and SLATIN polished the original and created a track that is totally ready for club domination this summer. The vibe of the 2008 version is captured perfectly in this refreshed ‘Shake It Down’, but then again, with such a quality foundation you can hardly go wrong.

Laidback Luke hardly needs an introduction – with his origins in house and techno underground through to his current more eclectic style, Laidback Luke has always been a leading light in music of present day as well as the future. When teaming up with A-Trak back in 2008 both of them hit a straight bulls eye when releasing ‘Shake It Down’. The track made some serious waves in the scene and turned up clubs and festivals for many years – and still does.

When taste maker and musical-icon Tommie Sunshine started tweaking the original with SLATIN, Russian DJ/producer by origin but based in Madrid, the original got a great polish. Team Remake pulls the 2008 classic back to where it belongs – legit, techy house music that will leave dance floors all across grooving for more. We can only hope there is more where this came from!
