Straight from the wonderful Spain, we bring you today a young producer named Marcel Brox and his new release on Wolfrage Recordings. The track is called “Get Up” and it brings a new and unique sound to the listeners, because of its vibes. However, the track lacks so many things, from complexity and variation to mixdown and mastering. For example, a more attention to details could be a good thing. All the melodic leads and synths sound a bit too simple and rudimentary, while the groove part consists only in one kick and one clap/snare, without any more elements. The drop wants to be a big room oriented one, but also sounds way too simple and really different than the rest of the track. I will rate this one with 2, but hopefully this Spanish producer can improve his tunes and I bet that his next release will sound much better.
