ULTRA Worldwide has confirmed the Sidney Myer Bowl as the location for its first event Down Under, when it arrives in Melbourne on February 24, 2018 with Road to ULTRA Australia. Just weeks before Ultra Music Festival’s twentieth anniversary in Miami, Road To ULTRA Australia will follow in the footsteps of ABBA, Bob Dylan, Daft Punk and Sir Paul McCartney all of whom performed at this iconic venue, as it prepares to host a show to remember for Australian fans.

Expecting 10,000 Ultranauts, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl was handpicked for its central location by the Yarra River and stunning views of the Melbourne Skyline. The Road To ULTRA Main Stage will be positioned underneath the Bowl’s canopy, with organizers set to build one of their most creative stage designs yet. Registration for tickets will open on July 30. Only those that register will gain the opportunity to purchase tickets when sales commence.

With the lineup for Road to ULTRA Australia set to be released over the coming months, fans can also look forward to 2019, where Ultra will run two full-scale, multi-stage festivals in both Sydney and Melbourne.
