After a 5 year hiatus, Privet Earth is back with a smash summer single ‘Messi Goal’ – just in time for
FIFA 2026! The song has already gained significant traction across the Social Media and Music
Streaming platforms, and keeps winning new fans every single minute. “Messi Goal” captures the
euphoric energy and global celebration triggered by soccer legend Lionel Messi. The track utilizes fast
beats and uplifting anthemic hooks to mimic the collective roar of fans when the ball hits the back of
the net.

Born and raised in Russia, Ivan Smirnov was heavily influenced by the American/British pop/rock
scene as well as Classical and Electronic music, and started writing his own musical material in English
at the age of 8. Ivan lost his mother to cancer, when he was 12… He tried to express his feelings in his
own unique genre of music, which he later called ‘Blitz-Rock’.


A few years later, after traveling thousands of miles and facing many obstacles, Ivan made it to Los
Angeles. “The struggle was unbelievable!” He remembers, “I used to live on $5 a week at times. One
day I even found myself homeless with the only thing I owned – my guitar” But Ivan didn’t give up.
His explosive performances and unique vocal style quickly gained him respect among everyone who
heard his music. Privet Earth was born.


Grammy ballot for “Best Rock Song” and “Best Rock Performance”, collaborations with major artists
such as Scott Page (Pink Floyd), appearance on Vh1’s Top 20 Countdown, top positions in European
video charts (Italy’s Radiostar TV), international shows for stadium size crowds – that was just the first
chapter for Ivan and his music project. Privet Earth has released 3 full studio albums and 2 EP’s. His

records have gathered 10/10 star reviews from leading indie music publications all over the world,
including the legendary Music Connection magazine placing him in the “Top 25 New Music Critiques”
list.
Currently, Privet Earth is gearing up to release two summer singles: ‘Multiply’ and ‘Just Dive’ before
announcing the release of their 4th full studio album later this year.
‘I’m beyond excited!’ , says Ivan, ‘I feel like a soccer player who’s returning to the pitch to play the
second half of the game. And as you know, the second half is the one to decide it all!’
