Coming up strong for the burgeoning season, Brazil’s freshest tastemaker Öwnboss raises the bar as he teams up with renowned DJ Glen for the aptly titled bass house weapon “Come Together.” Expect a raw, electro styled drop, cool and rampantly bursting out across subtle melodics and feverish vocals. It’s a head turner, this one, making it the dreamed follow-up to Öwnboss’ claim to fame “Move Your Body” and last year’s club hit “Left & Right.” It will all “Come Together” now, as it drops on Musical Freedom.

Öwnboss has seen a steady rise to fame these last years, already etching his place in Brazil’s dance scene by collaborating with some of the country’s finest tastemakers in both Vintage Culture and Bruno Be, and has amassed over 100 million streams with singles such as “Take Me Out,” “Touch Me,” and “Heavy Dirty Soul.”

Following global support from dance music titans such as Tiësto, Hardwell, Sander Van Doorn and Afrojack, the standalone success of “Move Your Body” (a collab with fellow Brazilian hit producer Sevek) has been pushing Öwnboss’ profile to the next level.

In fact, as this claim to fame was released on Musical Freedom, label boss Tiësto was eager to sign last year’s follow-up “Left & Right” (a teamup with FAST BOY) and the recently dropped single “Papapo.”

Now, the ride continues, as Öwnboss joins forces with DJ Glen, a true Brazilian phenomenon when it comes to funky house and techno. Active in the scene since the early zeroes, he’s become one of the country’s most treasured DJ’s, dropping some tasty grooves along the way, including 2019’s club hit “First Time”, as well as a full album in 2020.

Side by side, these guys bring out the best in each other, as they let their respective sounds “Come Together.” The result is a song that steadily builds momentum with mystic vocals and soft, organic vibes, before raw synth chords take you straight to the floor, dropping into a high voltage bass house groove, leaving no room for escape.

From there, the heat is on, as punchy kicks and powerful snares keep the crowd on their toes while sturdy sound effects and those trembling vocals create further commotion. Leave it to these Brazilian tastemakers to blend heavy contemporary sounds with chilled melodics, it’s what makes “Come Together” a unique, and headstrong piece of club music.
