VIRPP kicks off with talent competitions organised by, among others, Axtone (Axwell), Protocol Recordings (Nickey Romero) and Trifecta (Ali B.)

VIRPP is the new place for producers to introduce yet unreleased music to the public, to be discovered by record labels, and to receive feedback from fellow producers. Users can also join exclusive competitions organised by record labels and read blogs by (inter)national artists. One of the first record labels organising a competition are Axtone, the label of Axwell and Protocol Recordings, by Nicky Romero. The winner will be selected through VIRPP and the label will release his/her track. Axtone and Protocol Recording are not the only international parties joining forces with VIRPP, as Swacq, Sam Feldt, Lumberjack, Xenia Ghali, and White Villa International will work with VIRRP to scout new talent.

Producers and artists
VIRPP offers a safe environment where producers and artists can let fellow artists and record labels hear their yet unreleased music in a controlled manner.
Users can rate each other’s music by giving it a like, making the track
rise in the popularity rankings on the platform.

VIRPP gives talents the opportunity to continue developing themselves thanks to the feedback function used by fellow artists. The greater the appreciation for your music, the greater the chance of winning competitions and being discovered by a record label. The more active the user is on the platform by establishing connections with fellow talents, the more points and privileges he/she will earn – such as access to exclusive win campaigns. The launch of the platform starts with several talent competitions. The track of the winner will be released through the label.

Record labels
Record labels receive thousands of demos from undiscovered talents every week.
VIRPP offer the label professionals the opportunity to use the label dashboard to immediately check which tracks are popular and which tracks and artists are ranked highly. Record labels can contact the talents directly if they are interested in their music and start a conversation.

Partnerships
An impressive line-up of artists and labels has already joined the platform: Axtone (Axwell), Protocol Recordings (the label of Nicky Romero), Trifecta (the label of Ali B.), Heartfeldt (the label of Sam Feldt), Dim Mak (Steve Aoki), Ensis Records , SWACQ, Merk&Kremont, Xenia Ghali, Lumberjack, White villa (John Christian), Michael Mendoza and The Artist Partners.

Producer SWACQ is enthusiastic about the new platform. “It is great to work with VIRPP to offer all these young producers a chance. They are in the same situation I was in around ten years ago. You are creating great music and have big dreams. This platform can really help them. As an artist, producer, or DJ, it is still incredibly difficult to get your work to the right people. VIRPP offers everyone the opportunity to get their foot in the door at artist and labels.
