Surfing on dark soundscapes and gritty bass chords, Dutch DJ/producer Mesto returns with a blast of a new single. “Bring It Back” sees him explore a moody club vibe, setting out with ominous vocal samples draped across fierce bass house drops, taking things further with sturdy techno kicks and some truly magnetizing synth pads. Mesto has got the goods on you this season, as he brings it all back to the floor – just watch him go, now on Spinnin’ Records.

Already making waves for years with his inventive productions, Mesto has explored the depths of electronic music with a wide variety of tunes. The Dutch youngster created powerful dance hits alongside Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens and Mike Williams, racking up tens of millions of streams, but also delivered tasteful, pop tinged singles, including 2019’s “Don’t Worry,” featuring the unique vocals of Aloe Blacc.

Following last year’s smash “Limitless” together with good friend Martin Garrix, he recently also joined forces with Aloe Blacc again, releasing the marvelous, introspective song “Better Days” to critical acclaim. Now, as 2023 is getting into full swing, Mesto delivers his first official single of the year, clearly emphasizing he’s up for some action.

Aptly titled “Bring It Back,” the song immediately sets a dramatic tone, as ominous moans and sinister soundscapes pave the way for a deep, techno fueled groove, culminating in a raw bass house styled drop.  Right there, the bass turns raw and gritty, sure to get the floor into a frenzy. Blowing away the crowd even further, Mesto unleashes a hypnotizing breakdown, featuring warm, 80’s styled synths, pulsating and piercing through the air, right before things turn hectic again.

Mesto has clearly developed a fresh, surprising sound here, building on previous club hits, while adding powerful elements from techno, bass house and oldschool electro. “Bring It Back” says it all, as the Dutch prodigy raises the bar once again for 2023. Better hold tight, he’s coming straight at ya.
