One of dance music’s newest legends, Austrian DJ/producer LUM!X has lit international dance floors with a series of fresh sounding festival hits. From his highly acclaimed tunes “Thunder,” “Monster” and 2022’s DVBBS teamup “Where Do We Go” to last year’s smash “Forget You,” his music has racked up over 2 billion combined streams, earning him more than 50 Gold and Platinum records.

Basically, this collab has re-invented Nena’s hit record into a whole new monster. Influenced by the uplifting spirit of her 80’s pop smash “Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime,” both acts incorporate their respective production sound to take the song’s melodic hook to a brand new festival climax.
“Can’t Forget You” kicks off accordingly, building tension with warm, melancholic vocals, touching Nena’s lyrics while moving into a synth driven crescendo. Anticipation is drawn to full extent, before a sturdy beat is dropped, rolling hard and deep along with the vocal chorus.
