The legendary, Grammy-nominated Kathy Sledge combines with exciting house duo Operation Funk to deliver a much-needed burst of sunshine with ‘Could It Be You?’, released on Point Blank Recordings.

The uplifting ‘Could It Be You?’ showcases Kathy Sledge’s unforgettable silky-smooth vocal, alongside dreamy synths and jazzy flutes, topped off with Operation Funk’s classy fusion of soul, funk and vintage house to create a sumptuous, feel-good single as we dream of brighter days. Kathy Sledge was the lead singer and a founding member of the iconic Sister Sledge, formed in 1971 with three of her sisters. The siblings achieved international success at the height of the disco era with seminal hits ‘We Are Family’ (Grammy Award nominated for Best R&B Performance), ‘He’s The Greatest Dancer’, ‘Lost In Music’, ‘My Guy’, and ‘Thinking Of You’. Kathy Sledge embarked on a solo career in 1989 and had several hits including ‘Take Me Back To Love Again’ which hit No.1 in 1992. Kathy Sledge has collaborated with electronic artists including Robert Miles, Adam Barta, and Aristofreeks.
