South African DJ & producer Kyle Watson is having a banner year in 2018. With performances at ULTRA South Africa and CRSSD Festival behind him, the Johannesburg based DJ is looking to maintain his momentum for the second half of the year. Today Watson has officially announced his upcoming US Fall tour surrounding his debut album “Into the Morning” [This Ain’t Bristol], alongside an album MiniMix, previewing the entire body of work.
In proper support of the album’s delivery, Watson has planned his very own headlining US tour set to kick off this October. Making stops across multiple regions of the United States, Watson will be gracing the stage in Michigan, Oregon, California, Washington and finally Colorado mid-October.
Before embarking on this national expedition, the South African producer is releasing his debut full-length album, closing out the summer on the highest of notes. “Into the Morning” boasts 13 captivating productions from Watson, all of which can be briefly previewed within the stunning 11 minute MiniMix . Excluding the two previously released singles, “Chomp” and “You Boy”, the mix showcases solely new works, giving listeners a taste of what to expect for next week’s album drop.
Watson has had an eventful year to date, most recently performing at Shambhala Music Festival in Canada to thousands of fans. Having released his productions on all corners of the label map, including Dirtybird, Oliver Helden’s Heldeep as well as Ultra Music, and This Ain’t Bristol, the up and coming producer has built himself a secure foundation for what is primed to be his most impressive 12 months to date.
