Lively LA-based production duo Niiko x SWAE are globally renowned for their larger than life sound. Enlisting NY-based producer Zack Martino and Californian artist Kyle Reynolds for a summer-tinged collaboration, ‘Glue’ is out now on Armada Music.

Drenched in sunshine vibes, ‘Glue’ glistens with uplifting piano chords, a bouncy bassline and an undeniably catchy vocal piece. Calling upon all artist’s signature sounds, this multi-layered creation is crafted to perfection, treating the listener to a vast variety of sonic elements across its duration. The result of an Instagram exchange between Niiko x SWAE and Zack Martino, ‘Glue’ is a seamless team effort that provides the perfect soundtrack those unforgettable summer nights.

Speaking about the single off their forthcoming ‘Field Trip’ EP, Niiko x SWAE said “pun intended, this song really helps “glue” the whole EP together. It’s radio friendly, but also fun and energetic enough to be played in clubs, which makes it a really diverse track. In terms of momentum, we really think this song helps drive the EP and push forward our new sound we have been working so hard to perfect.” Kicking 2021 off on an all-time high, the EP’s lead single ‘I Ain’t Going Home’ with April Bender received heavy radio support, including BPM, Dash Radio, Music Choice and hit #46 on the overall chart.  At the forefront of a new dance revolution with their vibrant offerings, ‘Glue’ readies the dance music world for the release of their ‘Field Trip’ EP on Armada Music.

Storming onto the scene in 2016, Zack Martino commanded attention with his unique sound. Attracting over 1 million monthly listeners, he has amassed over 60 million streams on Spotify and released on an array of the most influential labels including Armada, Atlantic Records, Ultra Music and Capitol Records. Renaissance signings Forgotten Notes release powerful ‘Resurrect’ EP !

In an age and industry obsessed with pigeon-holing musical genres, it’s always refreshing when something new comes along. And you don’t forget those moments easily; when the Renaissance A&R department heard Forgotten Notes first demo early last year, they were taken by both the uniqueness of sound and quality of production. We think they’re a very exciting prospect indeed.

Now, intrepid Swiss duo Ron and Erhan aka Forgotten Notes return with the ‘Resurrect EP’ on Renaissance, which comprises a trilogy of tracks that further highlights their scope and ability. Whether title record ‘Resurrect’ with its powerful groove and amazingly original, tempo-switching breakdown; the deep house shimmer of ‘Celestial’ or the melodic techno ascent of ‘Radiance’, this is an EP that is as beautiful as it is varied. You can hear the time and effort that has gone into the project as the guys explain, “We deliberately did three differing tracks. It’s important to us that we connect with our listeners and, as music is so subjective, we cast a diverse net. The trick was to keep it cohesive though, each track may be very different, but our goal was to retain a consistent vibe throughout.”

The package is completed by another new Renaissance signing – Loew. Fresh from his breakout success with a bootleg of Leftfield’s ‘Not Forgotten’, he kick-starts his Renaissance relationship with a hair-raising take on ‘Celestial’. His interpretation is a full-on, end-of-set, atmospheric breaks stormer. By adding a vocal and bringing out the track’s central piano riff he delivers something very special indeed and sets the bar for an exciting future. Expect to hear more from him on the label later this year…

Vini Vici, Blastoyz, and Jean Marie teamed up to deliver you “Gaia” !

Joining forces to deliver a psy trance tune of massive proportions, Vini Vici and Blastoyz alongside Jean Marie managed to score yet another hit song with their latest release on Spinnin Records “Gaia”.
Featuring ethnic infusions of sound with the use of diverse stringed and woodwind instruments, pumping beats and the Vini Vici signature psy bassline, “Gaia” is a wonderful mixture of organic and electronic, with a great balance of energy and atmosphere all throughout the track. The breakdown is very chilling and powerful with the vocals kicking in alongside the other instruments, while the energy is being maintained with the use of tribal and ethnic percussion. The whole track feels very atmospheric and cohesive, all elements blending in well together and the transitions taking the track smoothly from section to section. Definitely another killer tune we recommend. Listen or download “Gaia” here:

Zach Witness delivers Defected debut “Can’t Get It Outta My Head” !

Dallas-born, London-based multi-disciplinary artist Zach Witness is ready to be known for his striking and artistic solo work, unveiling his Defected debut ‘Can’t Get It Out Of My Head’ (out 16 Feb, including a remix from MK).

With his early work reaching Erykah Badu, who enlisted Witness’ help for her Motown mixtape Caint Use My Phone in 2015, the young visionary has worked with artists like André 3000, Frank Ocean, and Nile Rodgers. Discovering music through dancing, describing himself as “a dancer making music,” Zach made a name for himself in Dallas’ thriving hip-hop culture, particularly on the Dallas Boogie scene. Cutting his teeth as a DJ, playing at clubs, and putting together mixtapes, Zach says in the documentary: “It was kind of ironic to find myself as a gay white boy in the middle of a black, homophobic movement.”

Zach Witness

Zach is now at a point of reinvention, with ‘Can’t Get It Outta My Head’ showcasing his abilities as an adept producer and a striking vocalist.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future, as Zach Witness’ Defected debut ‘Can’t Get It Outta My Head’ receives a remix from Detroit legend MK. Marc Kinchen’s classic house sound defined the genre both in the US and across the pond, and his seminal reworking of Nightcrawler’s ‘Push The Feeling On’ and US No. 1 hit ‘Always’ featuring Alana cemented him as a 90s house maverick. His history with Defected is similarly signposted by acclaimed, chart-topping releases, including his remix of Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ and Route 94’s remix of ‘Always’. Now the revered remixer takes on ‘Can’t Get It Outta My Head’ by Dallas multi-disciplinary artist Zach Witness; by adding a heavy, rolling feel with deftly woven rhythms, MK makes the unmistakable sound of the eclectic original his own.

This record is the culmination of cuntiness and camaraderie … It was made out of the need to be free. The naughtiest self on full display. The goodest self in full play.” Zach Witness

HI-LO and Danny Avila team on new HILOMATIK single ‘PARADISE’ !

Hi-LO and Danny Avila present their incredible new collaboration, ‘PARADISE,’ which is available now on HILOMATIK. This song has been one of HI-LO’s most-played IDs of the last year, and for good reason – the melody is instantly recognizable as it pays homage to Coolio’s critically acclaimed “Gangsta’s Paradise” and the song from which it was inspired, Stevie Wonder’s “Pastime Paradise.”

A perfect blend between Danny Avila’s mainstage techno and HI-LO’s undeniable sound, the single has been supported by the likes of Oliver Heldens, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, GORDO, and many more.

In just a few short years, Oliver Heldens has successfully parlayed his career in the dance music mainstream into a much-lauded alter-ego in the techno world as HI-LO— gaining widespread acceptance from the underground scene in the process. Making the most of an era when genre boundaries are less important or distinct than ever and younger generations cast aside the snobbery of old, the name HI-LO is now synonymous with cutting-edge, quality, hard-hitting, innovative techno. By 2020, his tracks ‘Zeus’ and ‘Kronos’ landed in the Top 10 most-played techno tracks of the year on, making him the #1 most-supported producer platform-wide that year across all genres. His DJ sets as HI-LO has serenaded audiences at huge events like Ultra’s revered Resistance, Manchester’s Warehouse Project, Austin’s Seismic Dance Event, San Diego’s Proper NYE, plus prominent clubs in the techno scene like De Marktkantine in Amsterdam, Watergate in Berlin, E1 in London, Mondo in Madrid and Nitsa in Barcelona, plus numerous stand out performances on Drumcode and Filth on Acid label showcases across the globe.

Combining a big room sensibility with a dark, underground, raw edge, HI-LO has become a trusted tastemaker, with his tracks receiving massive support from luminaries of the scene, including Adam Beyer (who signed his ‘Hypnos,’ ‘Wanna Go Bang’ EPs and ‘CRESCENDO’ to his Drumcode label and invited him to remix his DJ Rush collab ‘Restore My Soul’), Reinier Zonneveld (with whom HI-LO released seven wildly creative collabs), Carl Cox, Solomun, Tale of Us, Anyma, Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Pan-Pot, Dubfire, Joseph Capriati, ANNA, AMELIE LENS, Joris Voorn, Robert Hood, Richie Hawtin, and countless other a-list acts. HI-LO was crowned the #1 best-selling and best-streaming techno artist over the last six months, according to Beatport. The next chapter in the HI-LO story was the January 2023 launch of HILOMATIK, a new label showcasing his productions alongside music from hot new talents and techno heroes that will further expand his musical manifesto. The imprint kicked off with the mighty ‘PURA VIDA’ from the man himself and has many exciting releases and party plans lined up in 2024.

Hard-hitting techno has long been married to dark nightclubs. Basslines snake through underground bunkers and kick drums thump through warehouse party spots. But what if this underground sound could light up the world’s biggest arenas? Enter – Mainstage Techno. Danny Avila’s latest interpretation of techno takes the white-knuckled strength of the best techno records – the kick, the bass, the hardness – and reimagines them for massive crowds. It’s the sound of the underground music he grew up performing, yet bolder. Think state-of-the-art techno and its deep-in-the-club sonics, but tailor-made for thumping across the main stage. Premiered in 2021 at Tomorrowland’s Around The World festival, Mainstage Techno brings Avila’s underground roots together with a massive presence. It’s music made to be played on huge stages with massive crowds. And more than anything, it’s a journey – one taking Avila back to his DJing roots and the tracks he loves, with all of the knowledge gained from performing to hundreds of thousands of crowds. Welcome to Mainstage Techno and Danny Avila’s next progressive era.

HI-LO and Danny Avila will support ‘PARADISE’ on the road throughout winter. See below for full itineraries.  ‘PARADISE’ is available now via HILOMATIK.

Breathe Carolina x Abi Flynn link up for fresh, lustrous take on 90s dance classic !

Kicking off the upcoming season with one of the most nostalgic tunes in dance music history, US duo Breathe Carolina teams up with UK singer Abi Flynn to revamp the ever invigorating song “Finally” Originally recorded by CeCe Peniston in the early 90’s, and consequently turning into an internationally acclaimed anthem for the burgeoning dance scene, this new version brings in a captivating 2024 energy, featuring warm piano riffs, feverish beats and Abi Flynn’s strong, soulful vocals. If ever, the jubilant vibe of those early days gains a worthy update with this extraordinary BC production – out now on Spinnin’ Records

They’ve been known to drop a classic or two; for the last decade LA-based duo Breathe Carolina has become one of dance music’s most inventive tastemakers. Blurring the lines between straight forward pop music and overwhelming festival tunes, they’ve dropped several hit songs, including “Blackout,” “Rhythm Is A Dancer,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Too Good,” the latter featured on their widely acclaimed 2019 fifth album DEADTHEALBUM.

More recently, the guys continued to break boundaries with 2021’s Raven & Kreyn collab “Vibes,” and 2022’s “Something”, a highly successful teamup with Martin Garrix. Last year, they continued this streak with releases on Garrix’ STMPD imprint, KSHMR label Dharma, as well as a series of resounding remixes of their all-time favorite “Sweet Dreams.”

Now, as 2024 unfolds, the guys venture into new exciting grounds, teaming up with none other than UK based soul/RnB vocalist Abi Flynn. She’s already made ripples in the UK soul/jazz scene for many years, supporting the likes of George Clinton/Funkadelic, Roy Ayers, Soul II Soul and more.

Her most recent success, however, has been found in the house and dance music world, where she delivered magic to countless hit records. As the mystery voice behind Navos’ platinum selling global hit “Believe Me,” and chart topping D.O.D. single “So Much In Love,” Abi’s smooth, melodic vocals and irresistibly catchy toplines have taken the dance world by storm.

“We are so excited to get out our new track “FINALLY” with the amazing Abi Flynn! It took us a really long time to find someone who could capture the attitude and tone needed for this vocal and once we heard Abi do it we knew we found the right fit!” – Breathe Carolina

“Finally” definitely lives up to the iconic reputation of its original. Breaking out with the song’s famous upbeat melody, this revamp beautifully adopts CeCe Peniston’s captivating vocal style with Abi Flynn’s warm soulful approach. Effectively, she creates a whole new vibe on the wings of those early 90s sentiments, taken to perfection by Breathe Carolina’s dynamic production.

The guys basically add several layers of rhythmic bliss, enhancing the original’s wobbly bass line while creating a strong crescendo with rumbling drums and smooth synth pads. As the song drops into its indestructible chorus, a series of powerful piano chords, energetic percussion and flashy sound effects take the mood sky high, sure to ignite any contemporary club and festival crowd.

“This song has always had a special place in my heart. I used to sing this one for  college concerts at 17 years old and it was an absolute favourite in my teen years. To join forces with Breathe Carolina to make this punchy modern house version for the legendary Spinnin’ Records is a dream come true!” – Abi Flynn

Sure enough, BC’s seasoned production style is able to create a whole new monster here, excellently blending a nostalgic house atmosphere with warm doses of soul and 21st century festival exhilaration. Once again, “Finally” is the tune to dazzle the world’s dance floors.

Martin Garrix & Third Party release highly anticipated collaboration “Carry You” featuring Oaks and Declan J Donovan !

Martin Garrix and Third Party have joined forces with Oaks and Declan J Donovan to deliver “Carry You”. The track boasts one of the most iconic intros of Garrix’s live shows that left fans in eager anticipation for its release since the first spin.

Garrix first introduced “Carry You” to his audience during his unforgettable set at Ultra Music Festival 2023, creating a wave of excitement and setting the stage for what promised to be a groundbreaking collaboration. The audiences of other 2023 shows were treated to more sneak peeks of this fresh, uplifting track, which exudes an infectious blend of energy and euphoria, with Garrix even using the song as his show intro from time to time.

Third Party: ‘’Ever since Lions In The Wild, we have wanted to work together with Martin Garrix on a second collaboration. Last year everything came together, and a new track was born, with one of the most infectious melodies we’ve ever been a part of. To hear the crowd singing it at shows before the track has even been released has been mind blowing. Now with the added euphoric vocals by Oaks and Declan J Donovan, we can’t be more excited to release it!’’

Oaks : ’’This world can be a really cruel and lonely place sometimes. I know how it feels trying to find your way with an unbearable weight on your shoulders. That’s why I love ”Carry You” so much, because it feels like a warm hug to me. It makes me think of all the beautiful people that helped me through the darkness, all the shoulders that held up my world. This song reminds me of how safe you can feel in someone’s arms and how, with only their presence, they can make you forget about your pain for a moment. Me and Martin had been talking back and forth about working together for a long time, so I was very excited when he invited me to come to Amsterdam last year. I really loved writing this with him, he’s such a talented and genuine soul and his energy is extremely contagious. I’m so happy to be a part of this track together with all these incredible musicians – I hope the world will love it as much as we do!’’

Declan J Donovan: ‘’Working with Martin has been a dream! Funny story how we met: I went to Amsterdam for my birthday in 2022 with some friends and while we were out for dinner I bumped into Martin! We got chatting then spent the next two days hanging out and making music together. It’s an honor to be featured on “Carry You” and I’m buzzing to get it out into the world!’’

“Carry You” showcases the seamless synergy between Martin Garrix’s unparalleled production prowess and the signature sound of Third Party. With a melody that resonates with listeners on a deep emotional level, reinforced by the vocals from Oaks and Declan J Donovan, the track is destined to become a staple.

Don Diablo & MEARSY team up for sleek house gem ‘Physique’(feat. RBZ) !

Making a stunning next move in his ever evolving resume, internationally acclaimed Dutch phenomenon Don Diablo teams up with young sensation MEARSY to deliver the deep, indie styled house gem “Physique.” Featuring the  charismatic vocals of Reading based singer RBZ, the song builds on emotionally charged hooks, warm synth pads and pulsating rhythms, creating a melancholic vibe amidst trippy deep house and UK garage vibes – out now on Spinnin’ Records.

Having crafted a world of his own throughout the evolution of electronic music, Don Diablo has managed to re-invent himself with every new effort. From delivering massively supported festival anthems since the early 10’s to collaborating with and remixing a wide range of artists including Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Gucci Mane, Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson, Rihanna, Madonna, Coldplay and many more – the Dutchman has proved to be a relentless force in the global dance scene.

While dropping his tunes across a multiverse of key labels, including his own illustrious HEXAGON imprint, Don Diablo hit another milestone last year, returning to Spinnin’ Records with a remake of one of his most beloved hit records from back in the day, 2016’s “Cutting Shapes,” and the following festival favorite “Let Me Love You.”

Now, Don’s back at the renowned label, making yet another surprising move as he teams up with up-and-coming producer MEARSY. Known for capturing the raw, organic identity of vocals, guitars and instrumentation, MEARSY re-dresses them with electronic drum loops and driving synths to create something fresh and new with elements of the familiar.

He already cut his teeth by writing and producing for artists including Meduza, Tiësto, Felix Jaehn, Vintage Culture and Alok, and is now stepping out of his studio to present his unique vision to the world. This was kickstarted last year, teaming up with  Sophie and the Giants on smash hit “DNA.”

His indie approach works wonders as he kicks off 2024 with this mesmerizing Don Diablo collab. “Physique” sees the guys drop a sultry, UK garage inspired groove, built around warm synth chords and the imposing vocals of RBZ (known for his versatile work with acts like Yungblud, Felix Jaehn, HUGEL, Dubdogz, Alok, The Vamps & Steve Aoki, and many more).

The UK singer paints an emotionally charged picture here, laying down his rushed vocals with a spirit of living in the moment and partying all night as if it’s ‘never gonna stop’.

Don Diablo & MEARSY perfectly emphasize this mood with melodramatic hooks, featuring strong, pulsating backing vocals and sentimental chord progressions, turning “Physique” into the dreamed anthem for dim lit clubs and ravers looking for a deeper message.

If anything, Don Diablo & MEARSY are touching both body and soul in the most profound style here, not in the least thanks to RBZ, who proves a sublime counterpart for the duo’s dreamy groove – resulting in a tune you want to hold close to your heart for a long time.

Don Diablo: “Spent a lot of extra time in the studio to get this one just perfect. Mearsy and RBZ definitely helped me push the envelope both creatively as well well as on a production level. Physique feels like the perfect combination between the old school Don Diablo sound before my breakthrough years, mixed with a fresh new emo sound that I really want to champion for the years to come! Lyrically our record also addresses an important issue (body positivity) which is a universal message that feels very welcome in the world we live in right now.”
