Earlier this year Felix Cartal and Lights teamed up for their captivating vocal house single “Love Me“, which is rising to the top of the pop radio charts in Canada, along with having 9 million streams across all platforms. Now, they debut the track’s vibrant music video. Taking the lyrics to heart, “Love Me” explores the complex emotions of a diverse cast with one thing in common: their love interests will not return the feeling.

Award-winning director Aaron A – of Grammy fame for Alessia Cara‘s debut album videos – brings poignancy to each character’s vignette using vivid lighting and different color grades to depict some of the cast in a dream-like, technicolor state, while maintaining a lo-fi aesthetic. The feeling of being rejected or ignored by one’s partner is something most listeners – regardless of age, race, or gender – can relate to, adding to the appeal of the crowd-favorite track.

Fans of the song will be delighted at its visual accompaniment, which features cameos by both Lights and Felix. Stay tuned for a new summer-ready melodic house from Felix Cartal coming soon!
