MDLBEAST, the Middle East’s trailblazing music entertainment platform, has officially set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Continuous Outdoor LED Screen (Temporary) during its flagship Soundstorm 2024 music festival. With global superstars like Eminem, Muse, Linkin Park and more performing to a sold out crowd at the MENA region’s biggest music festival. The record-breaking screen spans an astonishing 4808.84 meters squared, surpassing the previous record of 4159.7 square metres held by Adele in Munich earlier this year.
The monumental feat took place on Sunday, 8th December, with a Guinness World Records adjudicator present to verify and award the record. This achievement solidifies Soundstorm’s position as one of the most innovative and visually spectacular music festivals on the planet.
The record-breaking screen, a central feature of Soundstorm 2024, is a seamless, high-resolution LED marvel designed to elevate the audience experience to unprecedented heights. The screen’s colossal size and spectacular visuals have transformed the festival’s main stage into a breathtaking canvas, displaying cutting-edge visuals and immersive content synchronised with the performances of some of the biggest names in music today.
MDLBEAST’s team worked in collaboration with leading audio-visual technology partners to engineer this massive installation. The screen’s intricate design and technical prowess pay homage to the ambitious vision of MDLBEAST to redefine live music experiences. Unlike traditional LED setups, the screen blends innovative modular technology with creative design, ensuring it is not only record-breaking but also reusable for future productions.
