With 75 million monthly Spotify listeners to his name, the French mastermind reaches outrageous new heights.

Riding sky-high on a wave of global smash singles, musical trailblazer and international megastar David Guetta has rocketed to #4 most streamed artist on Spotify, celebrating with a thank you to his fans on Instagram.

The French DJ titan currently holds two spots in the Global Top 50 on Spotify for the very first time, with monster single ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ – which is just about to turn Double Platinum in the UK, with a mammoth 1.8 billion streams – sitting at #35, and ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ – with over 250 million global streams and 25 million UK streams to date – at #44.

Guetta’s latest single, ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ featuring fellow superstars Anne Marie and Coi Leray, has become a worldwide hit, having peaks of #12 in Global Shazam and #3 on UK iTunes, and hitting the Spotify Top 20 across 10 markets. On radio, the track has reached playlists on Capital, Kiss (+Kiss Dance), Hits Radio, Radio 1’s C-List and was chosen as Radio 1’s Track Of The Week. The track has also received the remix treatment by Sofi Tukker, Robin Schulz, Ozone & Diagnostix, Joel Corry and Cedric Gervais, as well as earlier versions by Hypaton, Borai & Denham, and DJs from Mars, which featured inGuetta’s Remixes EP.

Three months on from its release, ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ is still sitting pretty in the Top 50 across countless countries: #9 in Belgium and Switzerland, #10 in Ireland, #11 in Austria and Netherlands, #12 in Germany, #13 in the UK, #14 in Norway, #24 in Canada, #26 in France, #28 in Finland, #30 in Italy, #39 in Sweden and #47 in Denmark. The track has been certified Gold in Netherlands and Italy.

It followed previous single ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ with Bebe Rexha, which has just surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, as well as hitting #1 on the UK Singles chart, #2 on Global Spotify, #1 on Spotify UK, #1 on Apple UK, #1 on Amazon Music UK, #2 on UK Shazam, #3 on Global Shazam, and #1 in 15 territories including Australia, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway and Finland.

Earlier this year, the track also earned the international icon the ‘Dance Song of The Year’ award at the IHeartRadio Music Awards, where he was also previously named ‘Dance Act of the Year’. He also recently received awards for ‘DJ of the Year’ at the NRJ Music Awards, Producer of the Year at the Brits and #1 Producer by 1001Tracklists, continuing to cement his status at the very top of the DJ pile.
