Bobby Shann is known for his stomping Tech House tune and have previously seen success with tracks such as ‘Call Me Papi’ and ‘Break It Down’. Bobby has been working harder than ever to make a name for himself in the industry and has been working on some exciting projects during his time in quarantine so we caught up with him to find out what else he has been up to.

What are your thoughts on the current epidemic?

Well, it’s a big topic and there is a lot going on and I’m pretty sure there is more we don’t know about. I don’t really follow the media I feel like it’s a lot of brainwash. So, I’d rather keep forcing my energy on things that matters to me.

What’s been your favourite series to binge so far?

Dragon ball! Is and will always be my favourites.

Have you decided to take up a new skill or learn something during your time in quarantine?

Oh yeah of course. I’m so productive right now and I always learn. But this is how I grow my production process. Even the mastering I learnt by doing and wasting time and focussing on that. I love to understand all the work behind everything. We shouldn’t take everything for granted.

Are there any quarantine activities you’ll continue to do once the world returns to normal?

Maybe I will do more livestreams. It something I didn’t notice before, but it seems to be effective.

How do you think the current climate will have an effect on the music industry?

I think it effects it a lot, especially the clubs and festivals which is a big part of keeping the music industry alive. So, it’s a bad situation for every part if it’s the DJ, or the club owner. We’re all blocked and the only thing we can do is to be patient and make the best of the time we have with ourselves.

Have you been working on any new music during this time?

Oh yeah sure. I mean it’s the only thing I’m able to do right now! So, you can imagine I’m in my studio experimenting exchanging with other artists, planning new collabs etc. So, there is a lot going on.

Have you had any food cravings?

Not really. I’m happy that I don’t eat fast food. So, for me I’m really satisfied with simple and healthy food. I also cook by myself.

How have you been keeping in touch with people?

Social media. It’s one of the best tools we have to communicate, and we have different ways to manage things. This is the future. We should be able to understand how to use that tool for useful things. This is what social media is about. All this situation we in right now, we should profit and learn about what can come and prepare for that. Stay in touch with Bobby Shann releases and news here .
