This tune has become a much sought after mainstage favorite, now finally released through Maxximize to officially close off the festival season – a more than fitting gift to all the fans out there.
Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet share a highly acclaimed history together. Both esteemed acts in their own right, they forged a partnership seven years ago, dropping the genre defining 2017 smash “Narco,” followed last year by another massive tune, “Fuego” (alongside Zafrir), which dominated the festival stages through widespread DJ support and enthused crowds.
The dance music icons teamed up once again, this time working their magic on a worldwide classic by Andrea Bocelli, “Time To Say Goodbye.” Released in the mid-90’s, the song quickly became a staple in contemporary classical music, while also reaching high on pop charts across the globe.
In the hands of Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet, the warm, sentimental vocals are embedded in gentle pads, creating a peaceful moment when played live. Soon after, the guys unleash a series of piercing synth stabs, building on the vocals for an emotionally charged moment that is the highlight of any festival weekend. This is followed by pounding drums and roaring bass in the high-energy drop that gets the rave flowing to maximum power again.
