Having previously released the initial Saint Thug EP on Confession to rapturous applause, Quebec born ANGELZ returns to the prodigious label to release Saint Thug II now available on all digital service providers.
This Def Jam Records producer turned G-house aficionado has truly been making a name for himself ever since he debuted on Confession. Consistently pushing out a frenzy of tracks over the past couple months and now releasing yet another intense slice of dance music on Tchami’s label, ANGELZ’s 3-track Saint Thug II EP continues to push the envelope in quality and innovation.
Kicking off the EP, ‘So Fly’ features the renowned Kaleem Taylor on vocals atop low frequency bass hits and tumbling percussion before diving into a frenetic drop riddled with swirling sirens, vocal cuts and a gritty melody to drive the track home. The follow up track ’98 J.Lo’ arrives in true G-house fashion seamlessly blending rap verses amidst high-pitched synths and staccato kicks. Upholding the trend of pairing rap lyrics to his tracks, ANGELZ also linked up with SLATIN and Hanz Gable to effortlessly round out the EP. Filled with a catchy hook and a funky melody, ‘Supafly’ serves as the penultimate record showcasing ANGELZ commitment to quality and production value.
