NEW YORK, NY — Bass music producer and DJ SAVAS has released his new Cowbell Crusader EP, introducing his signature blend of dubstep and phonk. Fusing tearout, riddim, drift phonk, and Memphis rap influences, the project centers around a distinctive “cowbell-infused” bass sound that pushes beyond traditional bass music.

Standout tracks include “LAST MAN STANDING,” a tearout-phonk hybrid, “SIGIL MAGICKA,” which leans into dark riddim influences, and “DRUIDA,” featuring a Brazilian phonk-inspired sound.

Expanding the project’s world beyond music, SAVAS also developed and coded a companion video game inspired by “LAST MAN STANDING,” embracing the cinematic, game-like atmosphere fans have long associated with his productions.

“The mission was simple: make cutting-edge music and give listeners an experience they genuinely haven’t heard before,” says SAVAS. “I want this EP to make people feel powerful.”

Originally a multi-instrumentalist in heavy metal, SAVAS transitioned into electronic music after discovering Skrillex. Since then, he has amassed more than 40 million streams, opened for GRiZ during an official Electric Zoo afterparty, and earned support from artists including Excision, DJ Diesel, Borgore, Flux Pavilion, and ARMNHMR.

Cowbell Crusader EP is available now on all major streaming platforms, with the companion video game available to play online.
