From the studios of Apl.de.Ap, one third of iconic hip-hop supergroup Black Eyed Peas, comes new single ‘I Wish’, out now on all global streaming services via Fankee.
A delicate, beautiful tale of regret and lost love, Apl’s reflective topline floats across shimmering guitars, plucked strings and gently rolling percussion. Airy and light, ‘I Wish’ is indicative of Apl’s personal music style, produced by long-time artistic collaborators Edgar Sino (Artek606) and Jamir Garcia, who sadly passed before the song was released.
Speaking about the single and his friend, Apl said, “It’s a fun song that talks about something that we’ve all felt at some time or another. You know they’re not the right one but, still, you wish. Miss you, Jamir.”
