Taking a remarkable next step in his current house music explorations, Dutch DJ/producer Yung Felix now presents the ambitious 3-track EP “Burning Down The House.” It’s resulted in a strong collection of club oriented tracks, featuring vocals of Belgian singer/actor MAKAR and Dutch singer/songwriter Meryll – out now on Spinnin’ Records.

Dutch DJ/producer Yung Felix has seen an incredible rise to fame for the last decade. Coming up strong  with a relentless wave of high quality trap and hip hop productions, he’s teamed up with countless popular artists, including Yellow Claw, Bizzey, Kraantje Pappie, Dopebwoy and Poke, resulting in a string of hit records and tens of millions of streams, released on his own 100M imprint and labels like Virgin, Sony and Spinnin’ Records..

Becoming one of the scene’s most sought after producers, Yung Felix recently turned a next chapter for himself, looking for a new challenge as he started to produce house music. This fresh gust of energy already led to last year’s club hit “Deep,” a hot blooded collab with French tastemakers Malaa and DJ Snake.

This was followed by “I Need You,” the Dutchman’s first official single of 2023, and the feverish club gem “I’m Drunk,” featuring Amy Miyú, released through Spinnin’, and both clearly breathing his vibe of new found energy with uptempo tech house grooves.

Now, Yung Felix returns with a next ambitious step, releasing the aptly titled 3-track EP “Burning Down The House,” on which he further showcases his versatility in contemporary club music. Opening track “247” already says it all, bursting out with a raw techno groove and pulsating bass chords, featuring the enticing vocals of Belgian viral sensation MAKAR, known as an actor, vocalist, rapper, and brain behind platinum single “Mood.”

The EP continues with two smooth tech house tracks, both featuring Dutch singer Meryll, known for her praised contribution to Fisher hit “Yeah The Girls.” On “365” she builds the mood on a sturdy club rhythm, excelling with its punchy tech house kicks and raw bass lines, while “Missing You” brings out a hypnotizing uptempo groove, reminiscing oldschool rave energy – taking Yung Felix’ adventures in club music to yet another level of energy. “Burning Down The House” comes out right in time before this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event breaks out. And yes, Yung Felix is set to burn the house down in Amsterdam, performing on Saturday October 21st during #BBB x Yung Felix in the Supper Club. Join him there, and catch these tracks in live action, as well as further sparks of what this burgeoning artist has got in store for the club crowd.
