Aimed squarely at 2020’s festival season that never was, Nilsen’s edit would surely have been played front and centre on every trance stage across the planet this year. Taking the original vocal, the Norwegian legend soaks it in gentle, lush sections of soft, slow piano chords and trilling, tripping FX, gradually injecting more and more pace through layers of driving, dynamic percussion and roiling synths. Teasing the production to the build-up, Nilsen finally allows the euphoric drop to flow over the precipice for the kind of anthemic, stadium-busting, hands-in-the-air moment he’s globally renowned for.

Speaking about the opportunity to remix ‘Our Song’, Nilsen commented: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Morgan and Mark’s work and when I saw they had a collaboration, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to put my touch on it. Both the melody and the vocal set me in the mood for summer and I really wanted to have an anthem version of it even though we don’t really have festivals right now. I guess it’s the one way of bringing myself closer to that festival-vibe feeling during these challenging times. I loved the result, I made it a bit more trancy and I hope people will love it as much as I do.
