Australian producer Richy Fancy just released a very interesting ramake after the classic “So Much Trouble In The World” by Bob Marley. What impresses me the most is Richy’s creativity, because he manages to combine very subtle the original reggae elements with modern dubstep sounds and vibes, showing us that he’s not afraid to explore and break the genres boundaries.
Despite the repetitive nature of the reggae influence used on the track, the tune stays interesting all along thanks to the pitching background leads, creative use of drums and other backing leads. Clearly focused on creating a unique atmosphere, the song doesn’t disappoint in this regard either, featuring great transitions and build-ups and overall a very cohesive sound.
