Morgan Page drops a huge new Progressive House remix of the 2016 Deadmau5 hit ‘Imaginary Friends’ in a move sure to delight fans of both iconic North American producers.
Taking the laddering arpeggio elements of the original and keeping just a hint of the furious techno beats that underpinned the hammering production, Page’s revision takes the single in a completely new direction. Softer and warmer, Page uses fluttering synth twists, lush keyboard chords, smatterings of strings and in the latter stages two completely new vocal samples that absolutely stamp his authority over the edit.
