Featuring the legendary Nile Rodgers on guitar and Devin on vocals, it’s a beauty of a track. Gliding electric guitar arpeggios are teased in the intro before Devin’s hushed, yearning vocals start to tell the tale of summer romance. Brooding bass and punchy beats pull into focus, and the infectious chorus lands with trademark Rodgers guitar licks harking back to the disco era and his huge catalogue of stone-cold classics. Elastic, detuned bass tones provide an extra layer for the groove, but the track never goes over-the-top. Beautifully restrained and oozing sun-drenched goodness, it’s the anthem you need as the months heat up. Expect some great remixes too!
