One month ago David Guetta and Sia, the billion dollar streams duo, reunited once again on their latest track ‘Flames’. After acquiring more than 40 million streams and the release of an official music video, it is now time for the remix EP.

The EP offers reworks from Guetta himself, TEPR, Pink Panda, Sylvian Armand and Vladimir Cauchemar as well as an extended mix.

Guetta’s own remix has been a key fixture in his recent sets and takes the track into a more pointedly euphoric direction, with Sia’s glorious vocal it is made for big rooms, arenas, festivals and beaches.

French electro house hero Tepr brings his crisp, sharp sound to his remix, with a chunky bass melody interacting beautifully with the vocal and driving synth blasts layered over the top to make for a rousing crescendo. Ed Banger Records signee Vladimir Cauchemar creates a dramatic version with darkly-tinged melodies, thumping kicks, breakbeat rhythms and dashes of slap bass and cowbells for a good measure of funk.

Bouncy, fist-pumping piano house is the name of the game for UK act Pink Panda, who concoct a brilliantly succinct version driven by big chords, skipping ‘90s house/garage percussion and plump bass throbs. Swedish newcomer Sylvain Armanda impressed with his remix of Guetta & Martin Garrix’s So Far Away recently, and this heavily-swung remix is similarly killer, with changes in tempo giving a real sense of dynamism while throbbing bass and warped vocal cuts create a dark feel.
