After 5 years of their one last show, and a secret for months, Swedish House Mafia closed Ultra Music Festival 2018. The hype for this set was one for the books, and probably never seen before in Ultra Music Festival history.

Between the hype, rumors, and apprehensiveness that was soaring throughout the EDM world, what occurred on March 25th during Ultra Music Festivals 20th Anniversary was utterly astounding. 45 minutes after David Guetta’sset, everyone held their breath awaiting the next move; Daft PunkAvicii, SHM, who? As the barrage of lights and bass started to rumble and the breathtaking stage started to take form, the crowd and the world knew what was in store; the Swedish House Mafia.

When asked why the time was now to reunite they simply said:

IT WAS TIME …

Their set was filled with classics that put goosebumps into every electronic music fan. Their set included hits such as OneSave the World, Barricade, Reload, Payback, In My Mind, Don’t You Worry Child and many others. Apart from their classics, the trio debuted some new music that is possibly from Steve Angello’s new album and from Axwell /\ Ingrosso.

At the end of the highly anticipated Swedish House Mafia reunion set at Ultra Music Festival Miami’s 20th anniversary, Axwell dropped some huge news on the microphone.

In the words of the man himself, Axwell said: “and this time, Swedish House Mafia is for life!”
