After their December 2017 YARO collaboration ‘Dum Dum’ – which racked up an impressive 500k streams on Spotify alone – Swedish outfit Trilane drop their first new track of 2018, ‘Blow Your Mind’, and it’s an absolute bomb. Blipping, jacking, trap-inspired basslines and rolling percussion that wrap themselves around a revolving vocal sample, bookend a complete musical curveball, the pair’s production suddenly dipping in tempo in the mid-section, melting down into expertly crafted chill house that takes the track to a completely new dimension.
