This past weekend, Atmosphere Festival took place in Brazil. It looks like things went horribly wrong there, after the stage collapsed due to some extreme weather conditions. Following this incident one DJ was killed and several attendees were injured. The DJ, 30 year old Kalleby Freitas da Rosa, was performing on the stage, when heavy rain and strong winds caused it to collapse.
Atmosphere Festival issued a statement about this on their Facebook page, saying:
“We always cherish the security of our audience, following all the processes, reports and authorisations requested by the local authorities. And to our audience we will keep them informed of all our actions to keep the truth about the facts that have occurred. We’re sorry, we lost a friend, an artist. Our priority is to assist the wounded and their families. We thank the military brigade and the fire department for all their assistance.” Â
