He hails from Columbia, Missouri and released his debut album 70 West this year, supporting the likes of Estelle, BoB, Tinashe and PJ Morton on tour. When Girls Love DJs received his vocals for this track, it was love at first sound.
REASN’s candid lyrics tell a story of hedonistic escapism over Girls Love DJs’ chugging ‘80s-vibe electro pop beat. The arpeggiated bassline and taut snares recall the Drive soundtrack, but sweet piano breaks/builds provide a beautiful contrast.
