There is no one better suited to give Supermode’s immortal hit “Tell Me Why” a 2017 rebirth than Code Red boss Marcus Schossow. The Swedish songster looks to finish up 2017 in fantastic fashion. He brought his Code Red imprint back to life with his seismic hit “Rumble,” which worked its way into the sets of Kryder, W&W and plenty more. Then, he added his signature house sound to records like Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s “More Than You Know” and SOVTH’s “Boriquas”. Now, “Tell Me Why” illustrates his magic touch with house music.
Originally crafted by super-duo Supermode (Steve Angello and Axwell), Marcus Schossow quickly allows his style to take centerstage on this record. The anthemic and instantly recognizable vocals ring out while Schossow builds up layers of intense melody beneath them. These levels join together to form a particularly power and dark house vibe that Schossow has made his signature.
