Spotify has announced that they have launched a brand new program, called RISE that is destined to put the spotlight on up and coming artists. This new program was unveiled on Friday, October 20th and will highlight 4 artists every few months with a mixed-media playlist. The total number of artists spotlighted per year is 16.
The first artists selected for the program are pop and rock artists Lauv and Kim Petras, hip-hop artist Trippie Redd and country singer Russell Dickerson. RISE will become available in the US, the UK and Canada. If you want to find out more, you can go here!
