Getter is back in action with the release of “Solo” featuring Party Nails, out now on Shred Collective. A deviation from the expected Getter-sound, “Solo” is built around the high-pitched and powerful vocals from Party Nails, and features bouncy-futuresque basslines and whirling synths.
The hybrid dubstep song continues to display Tanner’s variety of elite production capabilities and taste, following releases like experimental bass track “Inhalant Abuse,” trapped-out heavy “Bury Me” as well as the mysterious Terroir Reid tracks already under his belt this year.
Earlier this month, Getter embarked on his massive two month-long ‘Big Mouth’ tour, which includes shows in Detroit, Philadelphia, Seattle, a double-header Halloween weekend in New York with special guests Smokepurpp and Ski Mask The Slump God, a three-night hometown takeover in Santa Cruz over Thanksgiving weekend featuring two Getter shows and Terror Reid’s live debut, and a two-night run in Los Angeles to end the tour. He recently returned from an Asian run on the Road to Ultra tour which stopped through China, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines, followed by a two week stint in Australia and New Zealand.
