Consistently delivering the dirty basslines and the hard-hitting drums the scene craves, Droptek’s talents have taken the industry by storm – and his latest offering Fragments EP is no exception.
Bringing together four diverse tracks to create a characteristic soundscape, Fragments takes us on a chaotic journey. Kick-starting with atmospheric track “Mimic”, Droptek blends dark, yet intricately crafted synth lines with familiar drum and bass breaks. Tapping into his electro influences, the artist harnesses a forward-thinking approach to hefty second track “Inject”, whilst title track “Fragments” brings an experimental flavor to the mix. Finally, glitchy half-time track “Ekstasis” showcases a boundary-pushing take on drum and bass to round up this impressive EP.
