Italian powerhouse duo, consisting of DJ and producer Carlo and producer Peppe, Daddy’s Groove returns to Sander van Doorn’s self-titled record label for a killer follow up to “Railgun”, this year’s smash collaboration with Tom Staar. The new single “Basement” looks set to hit the top of the Beatport charts once more, with an infectious groove and that signature Daddy’s Groove production.
An essential part of David Guetta’s production team, the pair are no strangers to success having co-produced and remixed music from Axwell, Bob Sinclar and Kryder and racked up production credits for the likes of Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. Not only that but last year saw Daddy’s Groove’s first entry into the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll – we say first entry, as we’re sure it won’t be their last!
For their own productions, Daddy’s Groove have been working on a distinctly more underground style, one that draws influence from the world of tech house and has become their own unique sound. “Basement” is the latest in a series of grooves that showcases exactly why the duo have become a firm fixture in club and festival circuits the world over.
