Recently, Troy Carter, who is the global head of creator services at Spotify has stated that artists do not get paid enough money by streaming services. He revealed this during the  Music Biz Convention in Nashville, where he talked about how artists aren’t getting the money they deserve from the streaming services, also detailing the measures the platform is taking to make improvements.

This is what he had to say about Spotify’s plans to make things better:

“We are just scratching the surface of what the [Spotify For Artist] tool will be. It will become a tool that you almost won’t be able to operate without.”

Apparently, these details have been unveiled after Spotify acquired a blockchain technology company in its effort to grow transparency and funds paid to rights organizations.
