Spotify, which is one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world, having just recently hit 50 million paying subscribers is apparently planning to venture into a new territory. Apparently, as Fact has reported, the company is thinking of launching a new hardware device.
In a job listing that was seen by Zats Not Funny, Spotify is looking to hire a senior product manager for “a category-defining product akin to Pebble Watch, Amazon Echo and Snap Spectacles.” And it seems like the one that will be chosen will work to create “frictionless and creative Spotify experiences via fully-connected hardware devices”.
